كنيسة مار يوسف - وطى الجوزبنيت الكنيسة سنة ١٩١٧ فوق كنيسةٍ أقدم عهدًا. رمّمت وأخذت شكلها الحاليّ سنة ١٩٧٥. لوحة مار يوسف من عمل كنعان ديب الدلبتاوي تعود لسنة ١٨٦٨. تتميّز الكنيسة بقبّة حجريّة بشكل طابيّة كاهن يعلوها صليب.The church of St Joseph - Wata el JawzThe church was built in 1917 over an older church, and took its final form in the restoration of 1975. The painting of St Joseph is made by Kanaan Dib in 1868. The bell tower is topped by a sculpture of a Tabye, the traditional maronite priestly hat, with a cross over it.

محبسة مار شلّيطا - وادي المذابح حدشيت

وادي المذابح هو من روافد الوادي المقدَس، وفيه محبسة مار أرتاميوس (شليطا) وتعود للقرن الحادي عشر. مؤلّفة من عقد سريريّ ينتهي بحنية نصف دائريّة، البناء أصبح اليوم أثرًا. في الموقع بقايا عظام بشريّة.

The Hermitage of St Chalita - The valley of Mazabeh Hadsheet

The valley of Mazabeh is a part of the Holy Valley descending from Hadsheet. In the valley stands the hermitage of St Artemius (Chalita in syriac) dating back to the XIth century. The building is in ruins consisting of a cribbed vault ending with a semi circular apse. The church contains remains of human bones.

دير مار بطرس وبولس - عشقوت

بنى البطريرك بولس مسعد الدّير في النصف الثاني من القرن التاسع عشر، وجعله مركزًا بطريركيًّا له إبّان حبريته. استقدم للكنيسة تمثالين رخاميّين والأواني من روما، مع مجموعة من اللوحات الصغيرة. أمّا اللوحة الكبيرة فوق المذبح وسط الكنيسة، فهي من عمل داود القرم. بعد وفاته، دُفن البطريرك في الكنيسة، وأوقف الدّير لعائلة مسعد. تحوّل في فترةٍ من الزمن إلى مدرسة، والآن يخوض عمليّة ترميم لإبراز قيمته التاريخيّة.

The monastery of Sts Peter and Paul - Ashkout

The monastery was built in the second part of the XIXth century by patriarch Boulos Massaad, and he resided in it during his pontificate. The patriarch acquired for the church two roman marble statues of Sts Peter and Paul, and many paintings. The great painting over the high altar is by Dawoud El Qorm. After the death of the patriarch the monastery became in the possession of the Masaad family, it was converted into a school for a while and now it is undergoing a restoration plan to bring out the historical value of the place.

كنيسة مار أنطونيوس الكبير - بيت شباب

بَنت عائلة الأشقر كنيسة على إسم القدّيس أنطونيوس الكبير، حوالي سنة ١٨٤٨. سنة ١٩٥٧، هُدمت الكنيسة القديمة التي كان قد صدّعها الزلزال، وبُنيت على أنقاضها كنيسةً حديثةً، على عهد رئيس الدير الأب أنطونيوس راشد أبي يونس. هذه الكنيسة تتبع بهندستها شكل البازيليك، وهي مؤلّفة من ثلاثة صحون تفصل بينها العواميد. لقد اكتست بجدرانيّات رسَمها الفنان أسعد رنّو سنة ١٩٦٦.

The church of St Anthony the Great - Beit Chabab

The first church was built by Al Ashkar family in 1848. It was destroyed after its walls were weakened by the earthquake of 1957 and the new church was built by Fr. Antonios Rashed Abi Younes according to a basilical plan with three naves separated by a row of columns. The church was decorated with frescoes by Asaad Renno in 1966.
