كنيسة سيّدة النجاة - بكاسين

بُنيت الكنيسة سنة ١٨٥٥، بعقدٍ مصالب. تعرّضت للتخريب إبّان حوادث سنة ١٨٦٠، ورمّمت أواخر القرن العشرين. تحوي الكنيسة على لوحة سيّدة الحبل بلا دنس وهي من عمل غربيّ، كذلك لوحة مار يوسف ومجموعة زجاجيّات.

The church of Our Lady of Deliverance - Bkassine

The church was built in 1855, and consists of a single arched vault. The building was sabotaged during the war of 1860 and finally restored in the late XXth century. The church holds a European late XIXth century painting depicting the Immaculate conception. The modern painting of St Joseph and the stained glass windows are the work of the artist André Nammour.

تقع كنيسة النبي إيليا للروم الملكيين الكاثوليك في بلدة علما الشعب، وهي جزء من تقليد مسيحي عريق يعود إلى قرون في هذه المنطقة. عُرفت البلدة منذ القرن التاسع عشر بوجود جماعات مسيحية، خصوصًا من الروم الملكيين والمَوارنة، وكانت تضم عدة كنائس صغيرة لخدمة الأهالي. تنتمي الكنيسة إلى الكنيسة الملكية الكاثوليكية ذات الجذور المرتبطة ببطريركية أنطاكية، وتتبع الطقس البيزنطي. وقد كُرِّست للنبي إيليا (مار إلياس)، وهو من أبرز الشخصيات الروحية في المنطقة. تُعدّ الكنيسة اليوم مركزًا دينيًا واجتماعيًا لأبناء الرعية، حيث تُقام فيها الصلوات والاحتفالات الدينية، خاصة عيد مار إلياس في 20 تموز.

كنيسة سيّدة الغسّالة - القبيات
بُنيت الكنيسة الأولى بالقرب من قناة جرًّ للمياه، كانت نساء القرية يغسلن ثيابهنّ بقربها أيّام السبوت، لذلك سمّي الموضع الغسّالة وحملت الكنيسة إسم سيّدة الغسّالة. بُنيت الكنيسة الحاليّة سنة ١٩٢٧ بمسعى من أبناء البلدة المغتربين. تتميّز الكنيسة أنّها مكسوّة الداخل بالكامل بالنقوش، تحوي عدّة جداريّات فريدة كجداريّة الذبيحة الإلهيّة حيث يظهر الكأس يعلوه النجم، وجداريّة الصدقة.

The church of Our Lady of Ghassala - Kobayat
The first church was built on a site near an aqueduct where the village’s ladies used to wash their laundry hence the name in Arabic Ghessele invoking laundry washing. The first church held the name of the site. In 1927 the new church was built with donations made by Kobayaty expats. The church is covered on the inside with painted stucco. The church holds distinctive unique frescoes such as the fresco of the Holy Sacrifice with the distinctive oriental liturgical altar paraments, and the fresco of the alm.
