كنيسة مار يوسف - وطى الجوزبنيت الكنيسة سنة ١٩١٧ فوق كنيسةٍ أقدم عهدًا. رمّمت وأخذت شكلها الحاليّ سنة ١٩٧٥. لوحة مار يوسف من عمل كنعان ديب الدلبتاوي تعود لسنة ١٨٦٨. تتميّز الكنيسة بقبّة حجريّة بشكل طابيّة كاهن يعلوها صليب.The church of St Joseph - Wata el JawzThe church was built in 1917 over an older church, and took its final form in the restoration of 1975. The painting of St Joseph is made by Kanaan Dib in 1868. The bell tower is topped by a sculpture of a Tabye, the traditional maronite priestly hat, with a cross over it.

بُنيت هذه الكنيسة على أنقاض كنيسة أقدم تعود للقرن الثامن. بوشر البناء سنة ١٨٧٠ وتمّ سنة ١٩٢١ فكانت أكبر كنيسة في لبنان آنذاك. رُمّمت سنة ١٩٧٩ وأظهر الترميم العقد المصنوع من خشب الأرز. سنة ١٩٩٦ إستُقدمت الساعة من إيطاليا.

The church of Our Lady of Assumption - Tannourin el Fawqa

The church was built over an older church dating back to the VIIIth century. The construction began from 1870 until 1921, becoming the biggest church in Lebanon at that time. The church was restored in 1979 and the cedar wood roof was revealed. A bell tower imported from italy was added to the structure in 1996.

كنيسة تجلّي الربّ - غابة الأرز
بدأ البناء سنة ١٨٤٤ مع الخوري يوحنا شبيعا، بموجب مرسوم بطريركيّ في عهد البطريرك يوسف حبيش. أُكمل البناء على مراحل سنتي ١٩٣٦ و١٩٨٣، وُرمّمت سنة ١٩٩٠. المذبح مصنوع من خشب الأرز المحفور من عمل الحرفيّ سليم أبي قبلان جعجع. أيقونة التجليّ تنتمي للمدرسة المقدسيّة.

The church of the Transfiguration of the Lord - The Cedar forest

The church was first built in 1844 by Fr Youhanna Shebaiaa, with a decree from Patriarch Youssef Hobeich. The construction was reworked in 1936 and 1983. The church was restored in 1990. The high altar is made of cedar wood by the craftsman Selim Abi Qabalaan Geagea. The icon of the Transfiguration is an issue from the school of Jerusalem.

تأسّست الكنيسة الأولى سنة ١٧٤٠، مع قدوم الموارنة إلى البلدة. تعرّضت هذه الكنيسة للتخريب جرّاء الزلازل والحروب عدّة مرّات. أُعيد بناؤها بالشكل الحاليّ سنة ١٩٢٩ ورمّمتها مديريّة الآثار سنة ١٩٩٥. الكنيسة كناية عن سوقٍ واحدٍ مستطيل مسقوف بسقفٍ بغداديّ. مذبحها رخاميّ يحوي نقشًا لمار جرجس. وتحوي الكنيسة لوحتين للسيّدة ومار جرجس.

The church of St George - Rmeish

The church was founded in 1740 when the first Maronites came to the village. It was damaged many times due to wars and earthquakes. It took its current form in 1929, and was restored in 1995. The structure is a single roofed rectangular nave with a wooden ceiling. The main altar contains a marble Bas-Relief of St George. The church holds two local paintings: the Madonna and St George.
